I’m new to a workgroup, what can I do?
New members of the working groups should contact the leader of the respective working group to introduce themselves and actively participate in it. On the main page of each working group, you can find the leaders of each group, their photos and a short video to highlight some of the relevant issues. You can also start participating in the working group discussions in the discussion forum.

On the main page of each working group, you can find the leader and co-leader of the group with email addresses and their photo.
What are the responsibilities of a task force leader?
The leaders of working groups may be self-nominated and will be elected by vote in the same group, possibly within the framework of the first virtual meeting of the groups – scheduled for the end of July 2022. Interested parties may apply. The possibility of co-leadership is offered. Every 6 months there will be votes to elect new leaders, or extend the term of the incumbent.
The responsibilities of each leader may vary by working group. In general, the function includes the following tasks:
- On the website
- Welcome new members to the discussion forum
- Moderate and encourage discussion and interaction in the discussion forum
- In face-to-face events
- Coordinate with the GIZ team the preparation of face-to-face events
- With the support of the GIZ team facilitate face-to-face events
- Rapporteur of Exchanges (documentation of agreements)
- Represent the group at the annual trinational meeting and other related events
- Follow up on the group’s action plan
